PrivaSpeech Terms

License & Use

• Purchases are licensed per user unless the plan, checkout terms, or a written agreement explicitly says otherwise.
• You may install on multiple personal devices you own/control.
• No resale, sublicensing, or redistribution of the app or license keys without permission.
• Reverse engineering is discouraged but permitted where allowed by law.

Payment & Refunds

Payments are processed via Polar/Stripe. You authorize charges for the selected plan. Your subscription renews automatically until canceled. Cancel before your 14-day trial ends to avoid the first charge.

Request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge by emailing support@privaspeech.com. This applies to both monthly and annual plans. The refund window starts when you're first charged, after your free trial ends.

The guarantee covers your first payment only, not renewal payments. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not automatically request a refund. This policy does not limit your rights under applicable law or Polar’s buyer terms.

Customers who signed up under a previous refund policy retain the guarantee offered when they signed up.

Privacy

Audio and transcripts stay on-device. Models download from our Cloudflare R2 storage with checksum verification. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Availability & Updates

• We aim for stability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every setup.
• Updates may include security fixes or new features; you are responsible for installing them.

User Responsibilities

• Ensure you have rights to record any audio you process; comply with applicable consent/recording laws.
• Keep your device and license keys secure.

Disclaimers

Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the software.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be highlighted in release notes or on this site.
